		<description>Perhaps car use is partly a cultural phenomen, divorced from stats? People on the West Coast of the US (eg LA and San Diego) like to drive, so they get 91% car usage irrespective of population density, same as Melbourne and Brisbane. New Yorkers grow up using Public Transport (and cabs), and thus their car use is at a relatively low 67%.</description>

The success of the Perth to Mandurah rail line (perhaps because we have the optimum density) suggests that we should have some North Eastern routes put on tracks.</description>
