Principal shared Paths on Fielder Street in East Perth and Roe Street, Northbridge, will be disrupted by City Link rail works this weekend, the Perth City Link Rail Alliance has announced.
From 10pm on Friday, October 11, to the first service on Monday, October 14, buses will replace train services cancelled to allow work on the rail line.
The buses will operate from Fielder Street and Roe Street and passengers would be getting on them.
Cyclists will need to remember to slow down near these areas to also be mindful of other cyclists and pedestrians.
Traffic management will be in place along the paths.
The weekend shutdown is to complete construction and commissioning of the new Platform 6 track and divert the track into the new Fremantle Line tunnel, as well as other service upgrades. This work could not be completed until the Fremantle Line was successfully operating in and out of the new tunnel, the Alliance statement said.
