Perth City Council in coverup on bicycle saddles

Cyclists who pick a saddle cover design have a chance to win one of two $50 vouchers for a bicycle shop, the City of Perth says.

The council had produced five designs that show off the fashionable side of cycling, keep the saddle dry through Spring showers and promote the message that regardless of the season it was always a good time to Pedal Perth, council active transport planner Laura Donovan said.

It wanted cyclists to register their favourite design before 5pm on Monday, October 14.

Everyone who voted would go into a draw for two $50 vouchers for a Perth bicycle shop of their choice.

The winning design and the voucher winners would be announced on the council’s website on Tuesday and be on display on the council stand at the Woodside Ride2Work breakfast on Wednesday, October 16 at the Concert Hall forecourt on St Georges Terrace, she said.
