All waste plastic can be turned back into oil and then into fuels for a lot less money and only 40 per cent of the carbon footprint of turning crude oil into fuel. It can be done on a small scale by the people in a village in a Third World nation or on a big scale in a country with millions of tonnes of plastic waste crammed into landfill.
