Inclusive cycling innitiative

Cycling WA is developing in conjunction with disability and sports agencies the “Inclusive Cycling Promotion Forum”.
This forum’s mission statement is:
‘The promotion of inclusive cycling to suit the desire and participation
ability of the individual at a cost appropriate to the chosen level”

Already since its inception in July 2009 the group has helped Cycling WA to develop pathways for people with disabilities. As a collective, the group has had a “Come and Try day” for people with disabilities in October 2009. This fantastic day saw 70 attendees, volunteers and participants.
We invite you and your group to attend the next “Come and Try day” on Saturday
24th April 2010 at George Burnet Park, Karawarra, 9am to 12 noon. (Flyer below)
At the “Come and try Day” you can see what is happening in this exciting area of recreation and get involved.
Please contact Toby Hodgson on 9328 3422 or toby.hodgson@cycling.org.au with
your RSVP to either of these events.
