I have been known to go somewhere and then wander off on another tangent. I used to own a car. Got rid of it and now ride or jump the train/bus when I need to take work clothes in. I am constantly reviewing the wardrobe towards the day that I DON'T have to take some in on Monday. Ruins my week. Now on holidays, I thought this morning would be nice for a little ride and it was brilliant. OK the weather go hot just after getting home so I just had to ride down the beach for a swim. A good chill out. back to the subject - I find riding home after work therapeutic in that I go into a pedalling zone - keep an eye out for cars and earphoned cyclists!! Apart from that it is a glorious 15 kms of unwind, usually against Freo Dr but that is fine. Just cycling can be a trap. I have been known to go somewhere and then wander off on another tangent. I haven't ridden much this past week due to rain / having a car in the garage, laziness. I don't think any time spent cycing just for fun is wasted time.
