Ryder tyre liners worked well in 47mm touring tyres -- not the knobblies. Not one flat tyre on 900km of dirt roads, fire trails and tracks loaded with brambles and big thorns. Every commuting bike should have these tyres as standard. BTW, I put some special "hole proof" Schwalbe tyres on my bike, also costing in excess of $60, and had no punctures since. This was after walking home from Belmont (to Bassendean) with a flat tyre. (No mobile, no money) …. so, what does your OTHER car look like, objectman?
